• AUDIO-VISUAL AIDS

The school is having an Audio Room and a slide projector, an overhead projector music system a television, a VCR, Computers with multimedia and internet facilities, etc

• COMPUTER CENTER

The introduction of computers in school has become an integral part of education. Our computer Lab has adequate number of computers with Multimedia and Internet facilities. Computer courses are available for students from of Std. I onwards as part of the SUPW programme of CBSEE.

Informatics Practice has been introduced as one of the many subjects in Commerce class XI & XII.

• LIBRARY

Our school has a well stocked library, staffed adequately to keep the library in good order, and to guide the students during their library periods to make best use of the library and the books. The stock is constantly expanded and updated to provide meaningful reference material to students and teachers.

All have access to the library, which follows the Dewy system of classification. There is a special section for 'oversight book's for the use of the students of Std. X, XI and XII. This section contains supplementary reading materials like parallel texbooks, reference books, maps and examination papers. There is a special section for teachers. There is also a video Film Library of informative and educational films, catering to the needs of different age groups.

• SCHOOL ASSEMBLY

The school conducts exclusive morning assembly daily. It is a congregation of the staff and the students where, besides prayer and patriotic songs, relevant information is passed to all concerned. The daily news headlines and school news are read out. Individual speakers from among the students and the teachers speak on various informative and educative topics. Other activities include conversational English and open house quiz. This fosters a competitive spirit and gives wide exposure to the students.

• THE SCHOOL CLINIC

The school has a small clinic under the charge of a medical officer. First aid dressings for all kinds of wounds and sprains are done for the children. Once a year, a routine medical check up is carried out for all the children in the school.

• ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATIO

The National Policy in Education 1986 (with modifications undertaken in 1992) calls for "Continuous and Comprehensive School base Evaluation" that incorporates both scholastic and non scholastic aspects of education, spread over the total span of the instrumental time.

Bal Niketan Public School is located in Sangam Vihar, One of Delhi's Largest Locality. Established in 1983, as a primary school, it has metamorphosed itself currently into a Senior Secondary School.

The school has two inter-connected buildings. The Main building is equipped with latest technologies. it has administrative block in ground floor and all class-rooms are centrally supervisied by close circuit television. Moreover, it also has centralized announcement system. It has one big hall in ground floor for cultural activities or small gathering of students or indoor games activities

The other wing has different classrooms and library. It has a badminton court in front. At the backside of this two buildings school has a big playground for outdoor games for students
