Ashlesha Dubey Joshi, the versatile Kathak Tutor has a rich teaching experience of 12 years with various schools across Lucknow like CMS. She has completed Visarath from Bhatkhande, Lucknow and BPA from Indira Kala University. Her sessions will help to lay a strong foundation for Kathak & will help them immensely to explore it well.
Jasmine started her Kathak Dance training at the age of 6 years under the guidance of Smt. Snehal. She completed her graduation under the guidance of Smt. Archana Chaudhari and presently continuing her further studies under the guidance of Mr. Ajay Shendge, director of ‘Nrityayatra’ and senior disciple of Smt. Parwati Dutta, in Aurangabad, India. She received the finer lessons of Lakhanow, Jaipur and Banaras School of Kathak. Jasmine also feels grateful for the valuable guidance received from Pt.Birju Maharaj, Pt. Munna Shukla, Smt. Roshan Tai Datye in workshops, from time to time, in the finer aspects of Kathak.
Sameer Naimpalli is a trained singer under the tutelage of Padmashree Suresh Wadkar Ji and Smt Padma Wadkar Ji for the last 6-7 years. He has been teaching all aspects of music to students of different ages and knowledge levels. He has earned several rewards and recognitions due to his immense musical talent and constant years of hard work. His specialty is a blend of Hindustani classical and light music along with Harmonium and Tabla.
Shreeya Masurkar, the classical dancer is a graduate of Bharatnatyam & pursuing MBA in Bharatnatyam and studying for post-graduation(Alankar) in Bharatnatyam. She completed her graduation from AKHIL BHARATIYA GANDHARVA MAHAVIDYALAYA, which is one of the renowned university. She is learning Bharatnatyam for 18 years and has teaching experience for 7 years.
Malvika Iyer has been a Kathak Teacher for the past year and has been learning Kathak for the past 16 years under the able guidance of my Guru Shri. Satish Sakinal. She has completed her Visharad Pratham in Kathak. She says -The joy that Kathak gives her cannot be merely expressed in words. The noise of the ghungroos and the adrenaline rush after taking a Chakkar or spin overwhelms her soul. She wishes to impart the same joy to the learners!
