• PHYSICS LAB

The school has a well-equipped and spacious Physics Laboratory. Every student is provided with a separate set of instruments required to perform a practical. Handling of apparatus in a proper manner is explained and later supervised. There is ample demonstration material in the laboratory required for every class. Students learn different laws and theorems related to optics and measurements. They handle equipments to understand better concepts, definitions, laws, principles and processes of Physics. Experiments done here enable students to do science practicals with depth and insight.

•  CHEMISTRY LAB

We have a well-equipped lab designed to suit the learning needs of our students. They are guided by our teachers to handle various chemicals and study their reactions and observations. Each student is provided an independent work place with a gas burner having centralized gas supply. The laboratory is well equipped with all the chemicals and salts needed by the students. Adequate care has been taken to avoid any incidental hazards. Apparatus handling is supervised and they get hands on experience with acids, salts, bases and their analysis. A practical observation of theories learned in class makes the learning more thorough.

• BIOLOGY LAB

Biology is the science of life and our well-equipped laboratory provides the best means to understand this science in a better way. The various charts, models and specimens immediately awaken the interest of the students. They see live examples of the specimen pictures in their textbook preserved in formalin. They learn about human anatomy through models. Laboratory and field study have also been demonstrated to be effective means for comprehension, understanding and application of biological knowledge.

• COMPUTER LAB

Computers are widely used today and acquiring computer knowledge is the need of the time. The computer laboratory of our school is equipped with 50 computers with a Broadband Internet connection which facilitates on going accessibility to the windows of the world. Computer education is compulsory for all students from Class 1 to 10. The students of class 9 and 10 do programming in Java as per the ICSE syllabus. Software has been developed for the various departments of the school namely Accounts, Library, Examinations and Staffroom. The students use computer technology for word processing, communication, research, and multimedia projects. The computer lab has been configured to support teaching and learning by providing rows of computers in a lecture-style classroom set-up. Lab computers and software allow students to complete course assignments or learn new programs.

•  LIBRARY

We recognize that books have a large role in building the future of our students. Keeping this in mind we inculcate reading habits in our students. A lot of painstaking hours are spent in creating a treasure of knowledge for them. The school's library has a rich collection of books on various subjects like Literature, Science History, Theology, Book of records, Dictionaries, Atlas, Magazines, and Newspaper. Students are encouraged to take books home from the library and read them over a week. The library is stocked with a wide range of books to meet the different reading interests of the students. The teachers also guide them in their choices according to their respective grade. This supports reading and writing instruction - in school and out. Our main aim remains to provide materials that will stimulate students' acquisition of factual knowledge, development of literary appreciation, aesthetic values and ethical standards.

•  AUDIO VISUAL ROOM

Processes and concepts that are difficult to express in words can often be explained more effectively through audio visual aids as pictures can have a more immediate effect on our learning faculties than words. The Audio Visual room of our school was incorporated on this very belief. The classrooms are all equipped with Audio Visual aids. They help to reduce verbalism which is a major weakness of our schools. They convey the same meaning as words mean. They give clear concepts and thus help to bring accuracy in learning. It encourages a teaching learning process and makes it easier and interesting. AV Room provides a wide range of audio-visual resources, equipment and services including 3D modules to enhance the quality of teaching and learning activities of students. It can accommodate up to 100 students for viewing and presentation purposes.

•  ACTIVITIES

Acian school band rehearse and perform instrumental music together. This training helps develop language and reasoning, a mastery of memorization, increased coordination, Emotional development: It can develop special intelligence, Better self-confidence. Students develop mastery under the guidance of Mr. Dinesh.

Coach Mr.Rajshekar has been training students to play drums. Playing drums Reduce Stress, Relieve frustration, disappointment, and stress. Increase Academic Performance. Boost Brain Power, Develop Confidence.

Acian Western dance troupe encompasses many dance forms trained by our coaches which are typically danced, are stylistically associated with our country or western traditions. Many of these dances were "tried and true". It improves condition of your heart and lungs.increased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness.increased aerobic fitness.weight management

Tennis is a racket sport that can be played individually against a single opponent of between two teams of two players each. The game is well known to kids as Our coach, Mr. Kevin Paul Raj trains them everyday with fitness classes and game skills. Our kids have been represented and played international matches in South Korea and many national level matches.

Keyboard Master Mr.Sundar.K has been training students of AC SCHOOL to play keyboard based on their interest to develop the mastery over playing the twelve notes of the combination of larger, longer keys and smaller, shorter keys that repeats at the interval.

Playing keyboard Increases the capacity of our memory, Refines our time management and organizational skills, Boosts our team skills. Teaches our perseverance, Improves our mathematical ability with reading and comprehension skills.

Any active sportsman has to be much focused. In AC SCHOOL the students are in the right frame of cricket. As it is the most prominent outdoor game played across the world, Cricket is considered as the national game of England and the favorite game of India. The 3 major aspects Batting, Bowling, And Fielding. Has been the main focus of our coaches. Endurance, stamina, physical fitness and hand eye-co- ordination. The game is good for developing team skills.

A.C School has included civic awareness classes as a part of the VIII std curriculum through introducing CMCA (Children's movement for Civic Awareness) program. These classes aim at making the students as active citizens by empowering them with their rights not forgetting to realize their duties and social responsibilities. We have a Civic club comprising the students as CCMs (Civic Club Members) which spreads the awareness to other students and parents through campaigns and skits. Students are taught to become more sensitive and sensible to issues such as social, economic, environment and so on; thereon creating ripples of changes amongst family members, friends, neighbors, classmates and schoolmates of the students. We believe that these classes will help imbibe social values into the hearts and minds of these young citizens.

Chess is a battle on board with coins representing the king, queen, infantry, cavalry, elephants, and chariotry. It enables the players to exercise their logic, strategy, tact and smartness in the game which ends with capturing the opponent's king.

We at A.C school believe that practicing chess would be a game changer in the life of the students who could face and combat life's challenges efficiently. This game helps the players to think wisely and when practiced regularly it also helps them to face real-life situations in a smarter way.

•  CANTEEN

On a busy day when mothers don't get time to pack lunchboxes or snack boxes, our school canteens are really handy and a lifesaver. Our canteen aims to cater to all the needs of our staff and students in a hygienic and healthy manner. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available. Apart from meeting the lunch time demands like a normal rice meal our canteen also provides snacks, beverages and fast food.
