To participate in this online Kathak Tournament 2022, follow the stepwise guide as follows.

Step 1: After signup/login, go to the Tournament section and choose Kathak Tournament.

Step 2: Next hit the button "Join Now" and add a participant (choose self for yourself).

Step 3: Complete the steps on the screen and get ready for the video upload process.

For uploading the audition video, follow the steps explained in the next section.

Important Note:

• Entry videos will be evaluated by the PiggyRide experts and participants will be notified about the results later through email or shared contact details.

To upload your audition video for this Kathak Tournament 2022, you are required to make a short audition video of any technical toda, tihai in teental, recite with a clap or taal and upload the video in the Feed. Follow the steps mentioned further to upload your video.

Step 1: Login or Sign up to the PiggyRide website.

Step 2: Now go to the "Feed" section.

Step 3: Hit the "Create Post" button in the top-right corner.

Step 4: Select "Feed categories" as Kathak.

Step 5: In the 'what's on your mind?' section, write your name, video performance details, song name (if any), and your email address. With a hashtag #PiggyRideTalentHunt

Step 6: Now tap on the 'video icon' (last icon) in the bottom-right corner.

Step 7: Upload your audition video to the Feed section.

(Just make sure the video is of MP4 format and size max 25 MB).

Follow these instructions while creating an audition video:

• Follow simple dress code - Indian ethnic wear (leggings, Kurti, Frock, Anarkali, Odhni, Ghnunghroo, etc).
• Songs are strictly not allowed.
• Avoid uploading blurry or bad-quality videos.
• The video should be of a minimum of 1.5 minutes/90 seconds duration.
• Video format and max size should be MP4 and 25 MB respectively.
• Keep your recording device at an adequate distance.
• Recheck your video size and format before uploading.
• The winners will be verified before reward disbursement. Avoid fake identity videos.

First Round:

How many kids are going to get selected and what will be the procedure of selection?

40 kids can be selected in the first stage as the process would be to update their videos on the feed post. Neha and Kalanidhi from the selection committee would view all the videos and select them for the next round.  

Marking criteria- Performance, aesthetic, attire, expression, regularity in class.

Deadline Date: 21st June 2022. [Tuesday]

Second Round:

How many kids are going to get selected and what will be the procedure of selection?

20 Students will be selected on the second stage the students would go in for a test which would be conducted accordingly to their age via zoom. 

Deadline Date: 25th June 2022. [Saturday]

Third Round:

How many kids are going to get selected and what will be the procedure of selection?

10 Kids would be participating in the finale via zoom. 

Deadline Date: 26th June 2022. (Sunday)
