Week 1: initial prayers, introduction to Bharatanatyam, 1-5 basic steps(subject to the grasping capacity of each student), 4 -8 single-hand gestures, few initial stretches according to the student’s body condition, and after the class.
Week 2: initial prayers, 4-8 single-hand gestures, a continuation of steps(Adavus - naatadavu), revising of initial stretches, and finishing the class with relaxing for the body.
Week 4: initial prayers, continuation with a few small homework like have thought of combining the adavus for forming a new one creatively, 4-8 single-hand gestures, and relaxation.
This process is repeated every month and we have a revision class each month-end. We even will provide you with the necessary audio and video as per the teacher’s guidance.
