Maitrey Soneji, the chess coach is from Porbandar, Gujarat, India. He is bearing the FIDE title ACM (Arena Candidate Master). He has been in the field of chess since 2009 and FIDE rating of 1607 (FIDE ID: 45059438). He is in Chess Coaching since 2018 for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. He has been part of the Guinness World Record event "Swarnim Chess Mohatsav" held in 2010 at Ahmedabad, India where he played in a MASTER category. In the master category, He has played with 20 players simultaneously and won all games in just 2 hours. He has won Khel-Mahakumbh (Event organized by Govt. Of Gujarat yearly) District champion 1 time in the U-16 category and 5 times in the Open (16-45) category. Under his guidance and coaching, one of the students got 5th and 7th rank in U-12 & U-14 National selection respectively.
